About

Chen Blume was born in Tel Aviv Israel. In Hebrew Chen means charm and beauty and the "Ch" is pronounced like the "ch" in Bach (the composer). She received a BFA from the graphic design department at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She has worked on multi-faceted projects that range from print, web, UX , jewelry design, to art installations.

Chen strives to create meaning in our work by starting with understanding the essence of each project rather than styles and fads. She loves technology but believe that the most important part of the design process is in the making and thinking with our hands first. Her best work has come from collaborating with clients who share her drive and passion for exceptional design and user experience.

Values:

  • Trust our hands and process
  • Thoughtful critique and questioning, always.
  • Impact and engage
  • exploration, never stop learning

Process:

Chen's multidisciplinary approach comes from a drive of learning by making. She works best when she bounces ideas and inspiration from different interests and activities.

Clients:

Chen works with creative non-traditional, socially conscious companies, and organizations, small boutiques, entrepreneurs and makers that think outside the box.
